I believe it is the responsibility of every designer to create objects that are inherently good; good to the environment, good to the people and places where they are made, and good to the consumers who use and, ultimately, dispose of them.
Design must be relevant, useful, simple, elegant, and responsible.
Anything is possible with the right minds at work; any challenge can be met with the right thinking and resources, it's just a matter of making it happen.
"Not everything is about design, but design is about everything."
— Michael Bierut
“Right now, the capabilities are out there to do just about anything we want to do. We used to ask ourselves, ‘What can we do?’ But now the real question is, ‘What should we do?’ "
“Everybody has ideas about how to fix things and change the world. The difference with designers is that they have the ability to give form to those ideas.”
